Welcome to the Office of Instructional Development
The UCLA Office of Instructional Development (OID) supports the instructional mission of the University and enhances teaching and learning opportunities. Through grants, programs and services OID promotes the effective use of current and emerging instructional methodologies and technologies.
Teaching Enhancement Center
TEC@OID assists UCLA Faculty in developing instructional multimedia presentations by providing equipment, software and training from experienced consultants. By providing a place for Faculty to learn and to use technologies, professors (or their GSRs) have successfully completed projects scanning 35-mm slides, creating PowerPoint presentations which incorporate graphics, video, or audio for classroom use, creating CD-based courseware, or converting video or audio into digital formats for use on a website or in class. For more information, please visit the TEC page of this web site.
